When the National Care Standards Commission was formed, members from local government branches joined together within the new organisation. This led to communication difficulties.
Since 2002 improvements have been made and with the introduction of the website, members will have an opportunity discuss topics with their elected representatives. The representatives will also be able to consult the membership on current issues.
